Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

Full Stack Engineer for The Restaurant Store’s centralized development team, building and maintaining internal web applications that connect retail stores, point of sale, order management, inventory, and customer-facing platforms. The team emphasizes collaboration (pairing, code review, architectural discussions) and individual ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a suite of internal web applications used by retail operations.
• Develop and improve features across backend APIs, databases, and frontend interfaces.
• Work on highly integrated systems (POS, order/customer management, inventory and fulfillment).
• Create and maintain a core integration GraphQL API (built with .NET HotChocolate).
• Debug integration issues and collaborate on technical design decisions.
• Own features end-to-end from concept through deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Experience building web applications with C# and .NET Core (including Entity Framework Core).
• Strong SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Comfort working across the full stack (APIs, databases, and frontend interfaces).
• Ability to own features from concept through deployment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with HotChocolate GraphQL.
• Frontend development experience with Vue.js, Nuxt.js, PrimeVue, or Tailwind CSS.
• Experience working on integrated systems or retail/commerce platforms.

Remote Work / Eligibility Notes

• Reliable high-speed internet (preferably cable/fiber) and suitable home office setup (noise-free, strong wireless or wired Ethernet).
• Must be a legal resident of one of the listed U.S. states.
• H-1B sponsorship not available; W2 only.

Physical Requirements (as stated)

• Regular ability to sit/stand and use a personal computer; effective communication and fine hand use.
• Occasional bending/squatting/crawling/climbing/reaching.
• Ability to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
