Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

PerformYard is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to design and build end-to-end product features for its employee performance SaaS platform. The role spans a React-based frontend and a Node.js/Python/MongoDB/Docker backend, working closely with founders, product management, QA, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full application development lifecycle with a focus on clean, efficient, reusable code
• Own development of features, including implementation and improving product usability and consistency
• Build new features across the stack:
  • React / JavaScript frontend
  • Python / Node.js / MongoDB backend
  • Docker and related infrastructure
• Collaborate on UI/UX and product capabilities for the SaaS platform
• Contribute to and maintain APIs, including API-based integrations with related systems
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Understand internal and customer requests and implement them in PerformYard production software
• Contribute to AWS infrastructure that delivers the product to users worldwide

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of development experience
• Experience with:
  • React
  • Redux
  • TypeScript
  • Python
  • Node.js and/or JavaScript
• Practical experience with NoSQL and/or SQL databases

Nice-to-haves / Bonus

• Docker experience
• Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks beyond React/Redux
• Experience building and maintaining web service integrations and APIs
• AWS stack experience
• Experience developing, documenting, and versioning public REST APIs
• GraphQL experience
• Additional Node.js experience
