Role Overview

Full-stack Laravel Developer (Remote, Contract)

Join Newpage Solutions to build and maintain custom web applications and microservice integrations/migration scripts. You’ll work across frontend and backend to deliver scalable, efficient, and maintainable platform solutions.

Mission / Key Responsibilities

• Assist with a large migration from legacy tools to a new Adobe platform
• Participate in system design and delivery
• Design system specifications and tests before implementing
• Develop and integrate interfaces, flows, and APIs
• Integrate user-facing components with server-side logic via REST APIs
• Build reusable code and libraries
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection features
• Design and implement data storage solutions
• Perform code reviews to maintain high quality and reuse
• Provide cross-over training for team and support members
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders; support the team’s shared delivery
• Participate in all Scrum meetings
• Share ideas for continuous improvement
• Assist with deployments/releases

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience as a full-stack web developer
• 7–10 years fluency in PHP/Laravel and Python
• 3–5 years experience with Vue, Angular, or React
• Strong unit testing experience (e.g., Jest) with a preference for TDD/BDD
• Excellent Git and source control practices
• Some experience with CI/CD pipeline development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Positive, learning mindset; willing to help others as much as deliver code and tests

Nice to Have

• Experience working in/with teams using Scrum
• Experience supporting migration and integration efforts at scale
