About the role

Role overview

Join Flock Safety as a Full Stack Engineer (Machine Learning Tooling). You will build, maintain, and scale internal tools that support Flock’s machine learning workflows, working closely with partner teams and participating in operational duties.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of features and bug fixes for the ML team’s internal tools
Participate in strategic initiatives and improve the user interface
Expand and strengthen operational readiness
Provide technical ownership across the application stack, including deployment processes
Participate in on-call rotations and code reviews
Collaborate effectively with partner teams

Requirements

Experience with Docker (running locally and deploying remotely)
Ability to deploy to Kubernetes using Helm
Familiarity with TypeScript (Node) and/or Python for web services, including general API design
Confident working with SQL
Experience interacting with data stores
Confident with a modern web framework (notably React)

Nice-to-haves

Experience with other modern frameworks such as Vue or Angular
Desire to grow and deepen understanding of software engineering fundamentals
