About the role

Role Overview

Senior Full Stack Engineer for mission-critical logistics and inventory management applications. You will work with US-based engineering teams, product managers, business stakeholders, and distributed contractors to design, develop, and support reliable, user-centric software.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Java, JavaScript, React, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
Build reusable frontend components with strong performance and responsive user experiences
Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations for logistics and inventory workflows
Write automated tests, troubleshoot production defects, and improve reliability/maintainability
Collaborate with engineering peers, product, QA, and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, standups, retros)
Mentor junior engineers and promote code quality, testing, and solid software design
Implement and maintain observability: monitoring, logging, and tracing (e.g., New Relic, Splunk)
Support containerized deployments and platform modernization using Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures on AWS/GCP
Work with Kafka and event-driven architectures for real-time streaming and distributed communication
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Lead platform upgrades and infrastructure migrations with minimal business disruption
Follow cloud security, networking, and operational best practices

Requirements

7+ years professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications
Strong Java and JavaScript development
Hands-on React experience and modern frontend practices
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
Experience with Spring Boot
Experience with AWS and/or GCP
Hands-on Kubernetes / container deployment strategies
Experience with Kafka (or similar event streaming/messaging)
Familiarity with observability tools: New Relic and Splunk
Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation
Familiarity with Node.js and modern JavaScript tooling (NPM)
Strong debugging/troubleshooting and production support experience
Experience in Agile/Scrum with distributed teams

Nice-to-haves (implied)

Deep knowledge of logistics operations (outbound/reverse logistics, inventory adjustments/counting)
Strong distributed systems and cloud-native architecture experience
