About the role
Role Overview
Full Stack Engineer (Java + Angular) to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications. You’ll work in a fast-paced Agile team delivering a trade compliance solution with continuous delivery and rapid iteration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular (17+).
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, microservices, and other cloud-native solutions.
- Implement UI state management with NgRx Store.
- Use Microsoft Azure services for deployment, scalability, and monitoring.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows.
- Perform code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features.
- Write clean, testable code with strong focus on performance and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications and infrastructure.
- Deploy reliably to production using modern DevOps practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years hands-on Java (Spring Boot, Java 17).
- 5+ years frontend experience with Angular (17+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Strong NgRx Store experience for Angular state management.
- Experience building/consuming REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Proven Microsoft Azure experience (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Azure SQL).
- Proficiency setting up GitHub Workflows for CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of microservices and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL); NoSQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Git-based version control.
- Hands-on test automation experience (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
- Containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice-to-have
- NoSQL database experience.
- Use of approved AI tools for higher efficiency.
