About the role

Role Overview

Full-Stack Engineer II (Front-End focused) at Torch.AI / Sundayy. Join a team building user-facing applications for mission-critical operational workflows and translating complex data and analytics into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Design and develop user-facing applications supporting critical operational workflows
Build responsive, accessible UI components using Vue.js or React and modern tooling (e.g., TypeScript and component libraries)
Translate complex data/analytics/workflows into intuitive interfaces for operators and analysts
Collaborate with UX/design teams to implement consistent design patterns and reusable components
Develop scalable frontend architecture, including state management and API integration
Create backend integrations to support frontend features using Python and/or Node.js
Ensure performance and reliability across diverse operational environments, including low-bandwidth settings
Deploy to cloud environments and support CI/CD pipelines
Use SQL and NoSQL data stores to enable visualization, search, and data-driven UI features
Support containerized deployment with Docker
Work cross-functionally with product, platform, and security teams; maintain technical documentation

Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
3–6 years of front-end or full-stack development with a strong UI focus
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with Vue.js or React
Experience building responsive, accessible, mobile-friendly interfaces
Strong knowledge of modern front-end patterns (component-based architecture, hooks, state management)
Experience integrating front-end apps with REST APIs and backend services
Familiarity with performance optimization for front-end applications
Experience deploying to cloud and supporting CI/CD workflows
Proficiency with Git, testing practices, and Docker (containerization)
Ability to collaborate with UX designers and implement production-ready interfaces

Nice-to-Haves

Experience specifically with security/performance standards for national-security applications (implied by mission)
Strong experience with containerized cloud deployment workflows and data-driven UI features
