Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

You’ll be a Full Stack Engineer leading website/product initiatives, with a focus on building reusable UI components, owning API design, and shaping UI architecture and technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable component library for a React-based application
• Create high-fidelity UI components that implement the organization’s design system
• Define intentional APIs and data models supporting both UI elements and internal workflows
• Build smooth, responsive interactions and animations
• Partner with designers to ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation
• Optimize frontend performance and accessibility across devices/browsers
• Contribute to design system documentation and component API specifications
• Implement advanced UI patterns such as:
  • Virtualized lists
  • Complex form validation
  • State management patterns

Requirements

• 3+ years building production web applications with React and component-based architectures
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS with modern frontend best practices
• Experience with component testing tools:
  • Jest
  • React Testing Library
  • Storybook
• Proficiency with Next.js (or similar React frameworks)
• Deep knowledge of frontend performance optimization
• Experience with design systems/component libraries (e.g., Material UI, Chakra, Tailwind)
• Collaborative experience working with designers

Nice to Have / Additional Context

• Experience addressing multimodal healthcare data (text, images, structured data)
• Interest in privacy-preserving AI and ethical healthcare AI development
