Role Overview

Humana is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to work across the software stack—from database setup to back-end and front-end development. The role involves owning varied assignments, making independent decisions in ambiguous situations, and contributing throughout all stages of software development.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain features across front-end, back-end, and database integrations
Support network and hosting management and back-end server management
Contribute to user interface and user experience improvements
Interpret requirements and determine appropriate courses of action with minimal direction
Understand and align work to department/segment/organizational strategy and operating objectives
Follow established guidelines and procedures

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3–5 years of experience in systems analysis or application programming
Passion for continuously improving consumer experiences

Additional / Work-From-Home Requirements

For home/hybrid roles: internet recommendation of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
Wired/wireless/DSL connection suggested; satellite/cellular/microwave only if approved by leadership
A dedicated workspace to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
Remote work may include occasional travel to Humana offices for training/meetings

$89,000 – $121,400 per year (starting base pay estimate; may vary by location and qualifications)
