Role Overview
Humana is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to work across the software stack—from database setup to back-end and front-end development. The role involves owning varied assignments, making independent decisions in ambiguous situations, and contributing throughout all stages of software development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across front-end, back-end, and database integrations
- Support network and hosting management and back-end server management
- Contribute to user interface and user experience improvements
- Interpret requirements and determine appropriate courses of action with minimal direction
- Understand and align work to department/segment/organizational strategy and operating objectives
- Follow established guidelines and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in systems analysis or application programming
- Passion for continuously improving consumer experiences
Additional / Work-From-Home Requirements
- For home/hybrid roles: internet recommendation of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Wired/wireless/DSL connection suggested; satellite/cellular/microwave only if approved by leadership
- A dedicated workspace to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
- Remote work may include occasional travel to Humana offices for training/meetings

- $89,000 – $121,400 per year (starting base pay estimate; may vary by location and qualifications)
