Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-focused) | $55/hr Remote

Role overview

Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-focused) working remotely in the United States on a contract basis (10–40 hrs/week). You will design and build production web experiences with a strong emphasis on frontend development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize robust frontend solutions using React, HTML, and CSS
• Collaborate with backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences
• Build/extend backend systems with Node.js (optionally Python, Java, or .NET depending on project requirements)
• Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and usability across the stack
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions in a distributed team
• Research and apply industry best practices to improve applications and workflow

Requirements

• Strong experience building responsive UIs with React, HTML, and CSS
• Strong proficiency with Node.js for backend development
• Proven experience as a full-stack or frontend-focused engineer on production web projects
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration best practices
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with one or more of: Python, Java, or .NET (optional; depends on project needs)
