About the role
Role overview
You’ll be a Full Stack Engineer designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end applications that support business operations. The role blends modern frontend architecture with scalable backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust full-stack applications across the stack (frontend, backend, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure).
- Translate product requirements into clean, scalable, well-documented code.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ship features end-to-end.
- Focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- Own major components/services, including design reviews, testing strategies, and deployment plans.
- Implement modern frontend architectures (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte).
- Build scalable backend services using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Go, Rust, or Java.
- Develop and integrate RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Handle data modeling, migrations, and database optimization (SQL and/or NoSQL) while ensuring data integrity.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience (or equivalent) with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte) and a solid understanding of UI/UX.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (a plus, not strictly required).
What we offer
- Competitive base salary $225,000–$275,000 USD/year (W2 or 1099), plus equity/stock options.
- Flexible remote work with asynchronous collaboration.
- Comprehensive benefits: health/dental/vision, retirement match, paid time off, parental leave, and mental health days.
- Equipment/home office stipend, professional development budget, and structured onboarding (12 weeks) with an onboarding buddy.
