Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

Entry-Level Full-Stack Engineer for a fully remote product engineering team at a New York-based technology company. You’ll build real production features across both the front end and back end while learning from experienced engineers in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across front-end and back-end codebases
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and product managers
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
• Debug and resolve issues in existing applications
• Help build and consume REST APIs
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Assist with basic database queries and schema updates
• Document code and technical decisions
• Participate in daily standups and sprint planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent bootcamp experience
• Basic proficiency in JavaScript and either React, Vue, or Angular
• Familiarity with Node.js (or another backend language/framework)
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive web design
• Exposure to SQL or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
• Good written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
