Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

BJAK is hiring Full Stack Engineers to build fast across its AI Neobank app. The role is for product-minded engineers who can move across frontend, backend, internal tools, and customer journeys to deliver working products quickly.

What You’ll Own

• Build and ship full product features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases
• Create customer and internal workflows for: onboarding, accounts, payments, rewards, travel, FX, support automation, KYC, and risk
• Turn ambiguous product problems into working systems with clean UX and reliable backend logic
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI engineers to launch and improve post-release
• Build internal tools and automation to reduce manual work and enable teams to operate at scale
• Own outcomes beyond release: monitor, debug, learn, and continuously improve

Requirements

• Strong full stack experience with real shipped products
• Comfortable across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and production debugging
• Strong frontend execution using React and Next.js (or similar modern stack, including Vue)
• Backend fundamentals in: APIs, data models, authentication, integrations, and reliability
• Strong product sense and ability to simplify messy workflows
• Ability to work fast with ambiguity and own results end-to-end

Not a Fit If You

• Only want to work on a narrow layer
• Need complete specs before starting
• Ship UI without understanding backend or operational impact
• Avoid production support
• Make vague claims without showing shipped work

• Remote, but must be based in the US
• Strong English communication required
