Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

BJAK is seeking Full Stack Engineers to build and ship fast across its AI Neobank app. The role is for product-minded engineers who can work end-to-end across frontend, backend, internal tools, and customer journeys.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full product features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases
• Create customer and internal workflows for onboarding, accounts, payments, rewards, travel, FX, support automation, KYC, and risk
• Turn ambiguous product problems into working systems with clean UX and reliable backend logic
• Collaborate closely with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI engineers to launch and improve after release
• Build internal tools and automation to reduce manual work and help teams operate at scale
• Own outcomes after release: monitor, debug, learn, and improve

Requirements

• Strong full stack engineering experience with real shipped products
• Comfort across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and production debugging
• Strong frontend execution using React and Next.js (or similar modern stack including Vue)
• Strong backend fundamentals: APIs, data models, authentication, integrations, and reliability
• Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
• Ability to work quickly with ambiguity and own results end-to-end

Nice-to-Haves / Not a Fit

• Not a match for engineers who only work on a narrow layer, require complete specs upfront, ship UI without understanding backend/ops impact, avoid production support, or lack evidence of shipped work.

Location & Process

• Remote, but candidates must be based in the US
• Interview flow: online assessment/practical task → technical interview → CEO/final round
• Target timeline: potentially within 1 week for strong candidates
