About the role

Role Overview

Full-Stack Engineer (AI) joining the company’s AI division. You’ll work with the Head of Product & AI and collaborate closely with the CEO and AI team to build a sophisticated financial AI agent.

Responsibilities

System design & architecture: Build robust full-stack systems to power a proprietary AI financial agent API.
Backend development: Develop scalable APIs and backend services supporting complex agent workflows.
Interface engineering: Create high-performance UIs that visualize agent reasoning, surface financial insights, and enable real-time interaction.
AI integration: Work with AI researchers to productionize agent logic and integrate LLM frameworks.
Data management: Connect and manage data pipelines from multiple financial data providers.
Operational excellence: Implement testing, monitoring, and performance best practices for reliability.
Innovation: Stay current with LLM frameworks, full-stack tooling, and financial/DeFi trends.

Requirements

5+ years of professional full-stack development in fast-paced/emerging environments.
Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI), JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
Proven experience building scalable APIs and web applications, with knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
Hands-on LLM experience (e.g., LangChain or similar), including vector databases, RAG pipelines, and asynchronous programming.
Professional experience working with financial data and APIs.
Location flexibility to work from an office in Brooklyn, NY five days a week (NYC preference), including remote options working EST hours.

Preferred Qualifications

Production experience deploying LLM-based agents.
Prompt engineering, tool-use orchestration (e.g., MCP), and semantic search.
Experience with embedding pipelines and RAG architectures.
Familiarity with smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and DeFi.

Technical Evaluation II: 1 hour syntax/programming fundamentals (AI tool use permitted)
30-min executive interview with Founder/CEO
