Full Stack Development Lead

Role Overview

Full Stack Development Lead (.NET | Node.js | Vue.js) for an enterprise software development team.

• Engagement model: ~20% technical leadership / 80% hands-on development
• Team environment: Agile Scrum
• Location: Remote (Onshore USA)
• Employment type: Contract (1 opening)

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership for a Full Stack Scrum team
• Mentor developers via code reviews and promote engineering best practices
• Support technical planning, sprint estimation, and solution design
• Resolve complex technical issues and guide implementations
• Ensure coding standards, security guidelines, and overall software quality

Full Stack / Hands-On Development (80%)

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Vue.js, Node.js, and Microsoft .NET
• Build responsive front ends with Vue.js
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with Node.js and .NET
• Implement microservices-based applications for enterprise-scale workloads
• Integrate with databases, third-party systems, and cloud services
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and production support

Architecture & Integration

• Collaborate with solution architects on scalable application architectures
• Design secure RESTful APIs and backend integrations
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure communication protocols
• Support cloud-native and containerized architectures where applicable
• Contribute to modernization and continuous improvement

Agile Delivery

• Participate in sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
• Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine requirements
• Coordinate with QA for testing and release readiness
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Deliver high-quality software within Agile cycles

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of full stack software development experience
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Full Stack Developer
• Advanced Vue.js expertise
• Advanced backend development with Node.js
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET and .NET microservices
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• SQL experience: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases
• Version control: Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
