About the role
Role Overview
As a Full Stack Developer, you will architect, build, deploy, and monitor applications that support Gorilla Commerce’s core business operations. You’ll translate functional requirements into scalable, resilient, high-performance systems, using AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ReactJS (front end) and Python or C# (back end)
- Implement new features and optimize existing code for scalability, efficiency, and resilience
- Create and maintain APIs and backend services, ensuring security, documentation, and performance standards
- Design, develop, and optimize databases using relational and NoSQL technologies (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB)
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually improve development processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of full stack development experience in a corporate environment
- 5+ years working with component-based front-end frameworks such as ReactJS
- Strong database management and optimization experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development methodologies
- Proficiency in backend languages such as C# and Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience with .NET Core
- Knowledge of AI-assisted development techniques (referred to as AI‑DLC in the posting)
