Role Overview

Senior Full Stack .NET Developer (Contract)

You will design, develop, and modernize enterprise-grade school support applications that improve operational efficiency and user experience. The role focuses on building and maintaining web applications, APIs, and database solutions while partnering with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support modern web applications, APIs, and backend services using Microsoft technologies
• Gather requirements and recommend scalable, maintainable technical solutions
• Lead application architecture and system design, including database development, testing, and deployment
• Build and enhance enrollment and school support applications to meet evolving business needs
• Troubleshoot production issues across development, testing, and production environments
• Participate in code reviews and enforce software development best practices
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across project teams
• Create and maintain technical documentation (e.g., system diagrams and implementation guides)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on schedule
• Support continuous improvement and application modernization efforts

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing complex .NET web applications and APIs
• 5+ years with: ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, Angular, and REST/SOAP web services
• 3+ years with: JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3
• 3+ years with: Entity Framework and SQL Server
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology (or equivalent experience)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience supporting K-12 or school-based applications
