Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

Hands-on Full Stack Developer to build and support an enterprise-grade operations platform for a hardware-intensive aerospace environment. You will own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, database, and DevOps, with expanding scope into requirements and stakeholder liaison as the platform matures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications with React, TypeScript, React Router, and Tailwind CSS
• Build and optimize backend APIs using Node.js with Express or NestJS and TypeScript
• Design and manage PostgreSQL databases (schema design, migrations, indexing, query optimization)
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Deploy and operate applications on Azure Web App, using Docker containers
• Write automated tests with:
  • Jest (backend)
  • React Testing Library (frontend)
• Ensure code quality via linting, type checks, and code reviews
• Collaborate with product, QA, and operations to deliver robust features
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize production runtime operations
• Provide ongoing application support after go-live
• Act as a business liaison to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions (BSA-style responsibilities)
• Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent requests and tasks

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong TypeScript proficiency across frontend and backend
• Production experience with React, React Router, and Tailwind CSS
• Solid Node.js API development using Express or NestJS
• Hands-on PostgreSQL experience (schema design, migrations, SQL optimization)
• Experience deploying to Azure Web App and building Azure DevOps pipelines
• Experience using Docker for development and deployment
• Automated testing with Jest and React Testing Library
• REST API design, validation, and error handling
• Strong communication skills and ability to act as a stakeholder-facing business liaison
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent work without losing momentum

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with ASP.NET (C#) for cross-platform integration
• Excel VBA scripting and SQL Server (T-SQL, administration)
• Background in industries where software reliability has real-world operational consequences (aerospace, manufacturing, utilities, defense, etc.)
• Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications post go-live
