About the role

Role Overview

Metova is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join its growing engineering team. You’ll help design and deliver software products and support the future of Metova’s professional services development.

Responsibilities

Build and deliver full-stack software services/products
Develop backend applications with Ruby on Rails
Implement frontend features using modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably React)
Work with GraphQL and PostgreSQL to support product functionality
Collaborate with a motivated, technical, and customer-focused engineering team

Requirements

6+ years of experience with shipped software services/products (or strong proof of delivery)
Proficiency building Ruby on Rails applications
Experience with Ruby on Rails 5.0+
PostgreSQL experience
GraphQL familiarity
Strong JavaScript fundamentals
Frontend framework proficiency, preferably React (Vue/Angular experience acceptable if willing to learn React)
Experience with Redux/Flux

Nice to Haves

React Native development experience
