About the role
Role Overview
Contract Full-Stack Developer (JSON Schema Developer) working remote (work from anywhere). You’ll design and implement robust JSON schemas and validation logic to improve the accuracy and reliability of AI training data that powers models across domains like finance, healthcare, and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze complex PDF documents (25–150 pages) to identify relevant fields for extraction and data modeling.
- Design and implement deeply nested JSON schemas from scratch using data modeling best practices.
- Define field types, naming conventions, and hierarchical structures for nested and repeated information.
- Implement granular validation rules (e.g., sum checks, null-testing) to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Collaborate with API gateway teams to create schema-driven validation workflows for reliable real-time data processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on JSON Schema design and validation for complex data structures.
- Strong understanding of API gateway integration and data validation techniques.
- Experience using JWT (JSON Web Token) for secure authentication/data exchange in API environments.
- Familiarity with PDF data extraction and structured data modeling.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup with clear documentation and communication.
