About the role

Role overview

Joveo AI is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Remote) to own both the frontend experience and backend infrastructure for features across its platform. You’ll work end-to-end, from pixel-perfect UI to scalable APIs, delivering improvements to how employers and job seekers connect.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
Develop scalable backend APIs using REST and/or GraphQL
Design database schemas and manage data access layers
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for web interfaces
Collaborate with product designers to implement intuitive user experiences
Monitor, debug, and optimize system performance across the full stack

Required skills & qualifications

Frontend framework proficiency: React, Next.js, or Vue.js
Strong backend skills in Node.js, Python, or similar server-side languages
Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases
Understanding of REST and/or GraphQL API design patterns
Familiarity with cloud deployment, CI/CD, and containerization basics
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of features

Nice-to-haves

Cross-functional collaboration experience with product/design teams
Experience optimizing performance across the full stack
