About the role

Role Overview

Joveo is hiring a Full Stack Developer (remote) to own both frontend experiences and backend infrastructure for features across its platform. You’ll work end-to-end—from pixel-perfect UI to scalable APIs—shipping improvements that impact how employers and job seekers connect.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
Develop scalable backend APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL)
Design database schemas and implement data access layers
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for web interfaces
Collaborate with product designers to deliver intuitive user experiences
Monitor, debug, and optimize system performance across the stack

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js
Strong backend skills with Node.js, Python, or similar server-side languages
Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases
Understanding of REST and/or GraphQL API design patterns
Familiarity with cloud deployment, CI/CD, and containerization basics
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of features

Nice-to-Haves

Depth across the full stack with a track record of shipping user- and performance-impacting features
