Full Stack Developer (React / TypeScript / Python or Java)

Role Overview

Full Stack Developer for a fast-growing, product-focused team building modern, user-facing applications. This is a fully remote (U.S.-based) contract-to-hire opportunity in a high-velocity environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• Develop and support backend services using Python (FastAPI/Django) or Java
• Design and consume REST APIs to connect front-end and back-end systems
• Contribute across the full lifecycle: requirements → development → testing → deployment
• Collaborate with engineering and leadership to ship features quickly in an iterative environment
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable code and follow best practices
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional full stack development experience
• Strong front-end experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar modern styling frameworks
• Backend experience with Python or Java
• 2+ years of AWS experience
• Experience building and shipping user-facing applications
• Familiarity with REST APIs and client-server architecture
• Ability to respond quickly to changing needs in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction

Nice to Have

• Startup or high-growth environment experience
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure
• Database familiarity (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Git experience
• Understanding of deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines

Work Model & Details

• Fully remote for U.S.-based candidates only (client is based in Atlanta, GA)
• Full-time (40 hrs/week)
