About the role

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications. The role is remote-friendly, with the option to work from offices in Detroit, Pontiac, or Porto Alegre.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive full-stack web applications
Apply best practices for code quality, including testing and code reviews
Develop and optimize APIs with GraphQL for flexible data interactions
Create and maintain modular, reusable UI components
Monitor and improve performance, security, and stability
Stay current with industry trends and apply best practices to ongoing projects
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives)
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to streamline releases

Requirements

5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience
Expert knowledge of React.js and Next.js
Proficiency with Node.js, NestJS, and GraphQL for backend/API development
Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
Experience with PostgreSQL schema design and optimization
Ability to write unit and integration tests
Hands-on Git experience
Docker experience for consistent environments
Strong problem-solving and systems thinking
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Haves

Experience building modular UI components using CSS Modules, Storybook, and Radix
