About the role

Role overview

Huzzle is looking for a remote AI Backend / Full-Stack Engineer to help build and scale an AI-powered travel planning platform. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver backend services, build APIs, and contribute to frontend features.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services in Python using FastAPI
Build and optimize APIs for AI-driven travel planning features
Integrate backend systems with MongoDB and AWS infrastructure
Contribute to frontend components using React
Collaborate via GitHub pull requests and code reviews
Participate in sprint planning and agile development cycles
Follow clean architecture principles and coding standards
Improve performance, reliability, and scalability
Work with AI and product teams to implement new platform capabilities

Requirements

Strong Python backend development experience
Experience building APIs with FastAPI (or similar)
Familiarity with React for frontend development
Experience with MongoDB
Experience using GitHub (PRs and collaborative development)
Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
Strong English communication skills
Ability to contribute effectively to sprint planning and Agile workflows

Nice to have

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code)
Strong understanding of scalable system design and software architecture
Experience in fast-paced startup environments

Location / work mode

Fully remote: work from anywhere with international teams
