About the role

Role Overview

Spatial Front, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer (NodeJS / AWS Serverless) with strong backend and full-stack experience. The role supports mission-critical applications by building and maintaining modern cloud-native systems in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain APIs in an AWS serverless environment
Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, QA, and development teams
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code using modern testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha/Chai)
Improve performance, scalability, and availability across complex applications
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development cycles
Support ongoing feature enhancements, UI improvements, and system updates

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
5+ years of backend and/or full-stack development experience
Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
- AWS Lambda
- API Gateway
- CloudFormation
- S3, SNS, SQS
Experience with Elasticsearch
Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting federal or government technology programs

Additional Requirements / Eligibility

Must be authorized to work in the United States
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (includes background investigation)

Remote Work

Fully remote (US-based authorization required)

Compensation

$80,000 – $120,000 annually (full-time W2)
