Full Stack Developer (Multiple Levels)

Role

Full Stack Developer (Multiple Levels) supporting the Department of War (DoW) on a remote engagement for a senior-level Federal client in the Washington, D.C. area. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI/ML-enabled features such as automated summaries, recommendations, and technology discovery
• Build and evolve a full-stack dashboard prototype for the DoW Sustainable Technology Evaluation and Demonstration (STED) Program
• Implement real-time data ingestion and processing via APIs, data streams, and automated pipelines
• Develop backend services and data models for technology tracking, Test & Evaluation (T&E) data, and stakeholder inputs
• Create responsive, interactive front-end components using modern frameworks
• Implement data visualizations for technology performance, needs, and analytics
• Design and code media-rich components (images, videos, documents, multimedia content)
• Support Agile development (sprints, reviews, iterative refinement)
• Enable secure CAC-based access with authentication and role-based access controls
• Build and maintain automation pipelines (configuration files, branching/merging strategies, artifact repositories)

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship
• DoW Secret clearance eligibility (Active Secret strongly preferred)
• Experience developing full-stack web applications
• Backend framework experience: Python, Node.js, Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.
• Frontend framework experience: React, Angular, Vue, etc.
• CI/CD platform experience (e.g., jFrog, GitHub)
• Experience with real-time data processing
• Experience with data visualization libraries
• Experience with secure cloud environments
• Experience supporting Agile development
• Experience with LLM-based development (e.g., Claude, AWS)

Leveling & Education

• Mid-level: Bachelor’s 3–7 years or Master’s 1–5 years
• Senior-level: Bachelor’s 8+ years or Master’s 6+ years or Doctoral 4+ years

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoW or other federal technology programs
• Integrating multiple data sources
• Developing AI/ML-enabled features
• Microservices and/or containerized architectures
• Building dashboards for senior stakeholders
• Integrating BI and business development tools
• Building/developing apps
