Full Stack Developer

Role overview

As a Full Stack Developer at Mercola, you will build, deploy, and own production web applications across the full technology stack. You’ll take features from concept to launch, collaborating with stakeholders to ship reliable, production-ready improvements with direct impact on customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications
• Build responsive front-end interfaces and scalable back-end services
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and database models
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure
• Build and improve automated deployment pipelines
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability
• Maintain security, backups, disaster recovery, and operational readiness
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ship production-ready features

Requirements (Must-have)

• 4+ years building production web applications
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience building server-side applications and REST APIs
• SQL database design and development experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Linux administration, Docker, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
• Production monitoring, performance tuning, and security fundamentals
• Ability to own projects independently end-to-end

Preferred qualifications

• High-traffic web application experience
• E-commerce or content platform experience
• Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
• Kubernetes / container orchestration
• CDN and caching technologies
• Analytics and/or data pipeline exposure
• Experience using AI coding assistants

Logistics & compensation

• Location/Schedule: Remote or On-site, Full-Time
• Pay: $120,000–$155,000 annually
