About the role

Role Overview

FinPay is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and backend systems. You will help integrate multiple platforms while ensuring performance, scalability, and security in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React and backend frameworks such as Node.js and serverless architectures
Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs for client-server communication
Manage AWS cloud deployments to ensure high availability, security, and cost efficiency
Collaborate in Agile teams (plan sprints, review code, deliver on time)
Integrate third-party APIs and build custom APIs to extend functionality
Maintain version control with GitLab, following best practices for code review and documentation
Perform manual and automated testing using Jest and Cypress
Contribute to continuous improvement through code reviews and refactoring; stay current with emerging technologies

Requirements

Proven full-stack experience with strong front-end (React) and back-end (Node / Serverless) foundation
Hands-on experience deploying scalable applications on AWS
Solid understanding of REST API design and API integration
Familiarity with Linux servers, application environments, PostgreSQL, and GitLab
Experience working with Agile methodologies
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python
Knowledge of security best practices, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)

Nice-to-Haves

Interest in emerging concepts (e.g., quantum engineering concepts where applicable)
