About the role

Role Overview

Full Stack Developer at Educe working with business partners to build custom, cloud-based solutions as part of the Educe Software Practice. You will deliver end-to-end solutions, including testing, documentation, and full lifecycle support.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and document technical solutions that meet business needs
  • Write testable, maintainable, scalable code
  • Communicate and update stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
  • Support QA testing and user acceptance testing
  • Participate in other activities that support organizational objectives

Required Skills / Technical Expertise

  • Web technologies: Responsive Design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
  • Web services/APIs: REST and SOAP using Node.js and Express
  • Cloud: AWS services including Lambda, SQS, and API Gateway
  • Databases: MySQL / AWS Aurora; familiarity with relational and non-relational databases
  • DevOps: GitHub, CI/CD, Docker
  • Frontend: Vue.js, React, AngularJS, Nuxt
  • Information security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex system/technical issues

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience across the full systems development lifecycle
  • Ability to translate user needs into requirements documents and coordinate testing, implementation, and training
  • Ability to independently research, analyze, evaluate, and document issues, products, and solutions
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, solution-oriented, and able to work autonomously and in an Agile team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years full stack software development experience with the required technologies
  • Ability to travel to semi-annual firm meetings
