About the role

Role Overview

Full Stack Developer (Remote) with preference for candidates in the Kansas City metro area. You’ll build and ship scalable SaaS features with real ownership in a startup environment, partnering closely with Product and UX.

Responsibilities

Build, test, and deploy fast, scalable web applications using Angular 15+ and Java Spring Boot
Collaborate with an Agile team to deliver features in rapid iterations
Work with Product and UX to turn ideas into user-loved experiences
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; participate in code reviews
Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the full stack
Contribute to continuous improvement in sprint execution and delivery

Requirements

4+ years full stack software engineering experience
4+ years with Angular v15+ and Java / Spring Boot
4+ years with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL / RDS), including querying, schema/table design, and optimization
2+ years with Node.js and Docker
Strong front-end fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON
Experience with RESTful APIs (development and integration)
Agile/Scrum development experience
Proficient with Jira and modern version control (Git/GitLab)
Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility; solid UI/UX fundamentals
Strong communication and a “let’s solve it” team mindset

Nice to Have

AWS experience (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.)
Hands-on experience working at a SaaS company
PrimeNG / PrimeBlocks
Familiarity with Elasticsearch
Exposure to the insurance/benefits domain
RxJS familiarity
Angular/Cloud certifications or coursework
