Full Stack Developer – Contract

Role Overview

Join Twine as a Senior Full Stack Developer (Contract) in a part-time, fully remote capacity. You’ll contribute to multiple projects across the healthcare and fintech sectors, owning both frontend and backend development while collaborating with stakeholders across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of scalable web applications across frontend and backend
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver features
• Architect and implement system designs that meet requirements and industry standards
• Communicate with clients to gather requirements and provide technical guidance
• Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability via best practices and code reviews
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance
• Manage project timelines and deliverables in a remote, distributed environment

Requirements

• Proven senior experience as a full stack developer (frontend + backend)
• Strong proficiency with modern frameworks/languages such as:
  • React or Angular
  • Node.js and Python (or similar)
• Solid understanding of:
  • System architecture
  • RESTful APIs
  • Database management
• Healthcare or fintech experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills; able to interact professionally with clients
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
• Comfortable with part-time contract work
• Must provide timezone, hourly rate, and availability upon application
