About the role

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Developer (AI Training) at Alignerr, you’ll help leading AI research teams improve how AI writes, evaluates, and reasons about code. You’ll review AI-generated code, stress-test system designs, and build tooling that supports AI quality control and data annotation workflows.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated code across the full stack (frontend and backend)
- Frontend: React, Vue
- Backend: Node.js, Python, C#
Identify bugs, architectural weaknesses, and performance bottlenecks in AI-produced code/designs
Design and build full-stack tooling for AI data annotation and quality control workflows
Review system architectures and provide expert feedback on scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Write clear, structured technical feedback to improve AI model outputs
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Requirements

3–5+ years of professional full-stack development experience shipping production-grade code
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Rust
Comfortable working across frontend and backend without hand-holding
Strong code quality and engineering best practices
Excellent written communication for explaining complex technical decisions
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field

Nice to Have

Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or high-scale infrastructure
Background in developer tooling, CI/CD, or platform engineering
Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, model evaluation, or data annotation pipelines
Experience in code review, technical writing, or engineering mentorship

Contract & Schedule

Hourly contract, fully remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Ongoing contract potential as new AI training projects launch
