About the role

Role overview

Full Stack Developer (AI Training) to help AI research teams by reviewing AI-generated code, stress-testing designs, and building tooling that improves AI quality across the full web stack. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated code across the full stack (frontend + backend)
Identify bugs, architectural weaknesses, and performance bottlenecks in AI-produced code and designs
Design and build full-stack tooling for AI data annotation and quality control workflows
Review system architectures and provide feedback on scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Write clear, structured technical feedback to improve AI model outputs
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Requirements

3–5+ years of professional full-stack development experience shipping production-grade code
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Rust
Comfortable across frontend and backend layers (no hand-holding required)
Strong code quality and engineering best practices; excellent system design instincts
Excellent written communication for explaining complex technical decisions

Nice to have

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or high-scale infrastructure
Background in developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, or platform engineering
Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, model evaluation, or data annotation pipelines
Experience with code review, technical writing, or engineering mentorship

Logistics

Fully remote, asynchronous
10–40 hours/week hourly contract
