About the role

Role Overview

Alignerr is hiring Full Stack Developers (AI Training) for a fully remote, flexible contract. You’ll help evaluate AI-generated code across the web stack and build tools that improve AI’s code generation, reasoning, and quality.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated code end-to-end, including:
- Frontend: React, Vue
- Backend: Node.js, Python, C#
Identify bugs, architectural weaknesses, and performance bottlenecks in AI-produced code/designs
Design and build full-stack tooling for AI data annotation and quality control workflows
Review system architectures and provide expert feedback on scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Write clear, structured technical feedback that improves AI model outputs
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Requirements

3–5+ years of professional full-stack development shipping production-grade code
Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Rust
Comfortable across both frontend and backend layers
Strong attention to code quality, system design, and engineering best practices
Excellent written communication for complex technical reasoning
M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science (or related technical field)

Nice to Have

Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or high-scale infrastructure
Background in developer tooling, CI/CD, or platform engineering
Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, model evaluation, or data annotation pipelines
Experience with code review, technical writing, or engineering mentorship

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
