About the role
Role Overview
As a Full-Stack Analytics Engineer II, you will own the analytics and data ecosystem end-to-end—turning complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making. You’ll work across the data layer (canonical/semantic models) and the app/UI layer, using GenAI tooling (notably Claude Code) to accelerate delivery.
Responsibilities
Data Ingestion & Modeling (40%)
- Ingest and model data from multiple source systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, Identity)
- Own the “T” in ELT using dbt
- Implement tests, lineage, and data contracts in partnership with Data Platform/IT
Full-Stack & GenAI Development (40%)
- Use Claude Code and other GenAI tools to build both:
- the middle data layer (canonical models, semantic layers)
- the app layer (dashboards and UI visuals)
- Create interactive dashboards and compelling UI visualizations that move beyond traditional reporting
Analytics & Strategy (20%)
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to iterate key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Apply privacy-by-design practices (PII minimization, RBAC)
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or related role delivering production-grade data models and durable data products
- Expert SQL
- Deep experience with dbt and dimensional/event-temporal modeling
- Demonstrated ability to use Claude Code and other generative AI tools for full-stack development, modeling, and UI creation
- Hands-on experience with a cloud warehouse: Snowflake or BigQuery
- Experience with an orchestrator: Dagster, Prefect, or Airflow
- Proficiency in Python or R for transformations, statistical analysis, and automation
- Strong communication skills translating analytical findings into business insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, Economics, or related)
- Experience integrating HRIS/ATS/payroll/identity sources and hardening metrics for exec-level decisions
- Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA and ethical considerations for analytics
- Full stack web app experience and building high-quality UIs for insights

- Remote-first culture is referenced.
- Physical requirements include prolonged sitting, frequent computer/keyboard use, and occasional walking/lifting.
