About the role
Role Overview
Join Affirm’s Core Analytics team as a Full Stack Analyst (Core Analytics). You’ll improve developer experience by building scalable data infrastructure, streamlining workflows, and strengthening a culture of learning and documentation.
Key Missions
- Own end-to-end analytics workflows: define success metrics, generate insights and hypotheses, and build scalable data models.
- Improve the developer + analytics lifecycle: uncover bottlenecks, quantify impact, partner with teams to drive alignment, and deliver measurable improvements.
- Build and maintain analytics foundations: establish best practices for testing, alerting, documentation, and code review to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and trust.
- Support key business metrics: help identify, organize, and elevate key metrics; contribute to the analytics community.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of analytics workflows and insight generation.
- Drive process and workflow improvements across analytics and development.
- Maintain high-quality standards for analytics engineering practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong technical/problem-solving skills and willingness to collaborate across teams.
- Strong SQL knowledge (preferably Snowflake).
- 1–3 years of experience in an analytically-driven role (analytics, consulting, finance, etc.); preferred background in Analytics Engineering, BI, or Data Analyst.
- Interest in redefining lending and improving the financial industry.
- Ability to think creatively/critically in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional influence.
- Humility and a team-first mindset.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of A/B testing.
- Experience with analytics development tools such as Git, Sigma, dbt, Snowflake, Claude Code, and Cursor.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitatively rigorous field (statistics, math, finance, economics) (desired).
