About the role

Role Overview

You will be an experienced Software Developer focused on React and great user experience, partnering closely with Product Designers, API Developers, and other Frontend Developers. The role also involves participating in feature design with a small, lean team.

Responsibilities

Build user experiences for complex, data-heavy web applications
Implement UI development for updates, new features, bug fixes, and new products
Evaluate and update platform design standards
Stay current with emerging design and UX trends
Collaborate effectively and work in small teams, with strong self-motivation
Continuously discover, evaluate, and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency
Thrive in a variable, fast-moving startup environment

Requirements

3+ years experience in UI/UX design development
3+ years responsive design experience with CSS/SCSS, including strong understanding of cross-browser differences and Flexbox
3+ years building JavaScript single-page apps using React (or similar framework)
Proficient with Git
Experience with component-driven development to scale front-end engineering with reusable modules
Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge
Ability to work independently and stay motivated
Ability/willingness to work extra hours to meet deadlines

Nice to Have

Experience with Node.js, Docker, and PostgreSQL
