Frontend Web Developer - HTML,CSS (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Web Developer (HTML, CSS) working remote (work from anywhere). You’ll build and maintain responsive, cross-browser user interfaces and translate design mockups into functional front-end components.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML and CSS
• Ensure responsive layouts and cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate with design teams to implement pixel-perfect UI elements
• Optimize front-end performance and accessibility
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS, including semantic markup
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) and/or frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind)
• Knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging techniques
• Ability to implement designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools

Nice to Have

• Experience working on front-end components for high-traffic web platforms
