Role Overview

Contract opportunity for a Frontend Web Developer (HTML, CSS) to build responsive, cross-browser user interfaces. You’ll collaborate with design teams to turn mockups into front-end components and help ensure performance and accessibility.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain front-end components using HTML and CSS (and related technologies)
Ensure responsive and cross-browser UI across devices
Implement pixel-perfect UI based on design specifications
Optimize front-end performance
Apply accessibility standards
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
Translate designs from tools like Figma or Sketch into functional components

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS with semantic markup
Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
Ability to debug using browser developer tools

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass/LESS) and/or frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind)
Experience implementing designs from Figma or Sketch

Remote (work from anywhere)
$30–$80/hour
