About the role

Role Overview

Front-End Web Developer (HTML/CSS) on a remote contract basis. You will build and maintain responsive, cross-browser user interfaces and collaborate with design teams to deliver pixel-perfect components.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML and CSS (and related technologies)
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across devices
Translate design mockups into functional UI components with pixel-perfect implementation
Optimize front-end performance and accessibility
Participate in code reviews and help improve front-end best practices
Implement designs provided from tools like Figma or Sketch

Requirements

Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS, including semantic markup
Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less) and/or UI frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind)
Knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging

Nice to Have

Experience implementing designs from Figma or Sketch

Contract Details

Remote (Work from anywhere)
Contract role with estimated pay: $30–$80/hour
