Frontend Web Developer (HTML, CSS) — Remote (Contract)

Build and maintain responsive, cross-browser user interfaces using HTML and CSS, translating design mockups into pixel-perfect front-end components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components with HTML and CSS
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate with design teams to implement pixel-perfect UI
• Optimize front-end performance and support accessibility
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS, including semantic markup
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less) or frameworks (Bootstrap/Tailwind)
• Knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging
• Ability to implement designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools

Nice to Haves

• Experience building front-end components for high-traffic platforms
