Frontend Web Developer - HTML,CSS (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Web Developer (HTML, CSS) to build and maintain responsive, cross-browser user interfaces. You will collaborate with design teams to translate mockups into functional, pixel-perfect front-end components.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain front-end components using HTML and CSS
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Implement pixel-perfect UI elements from design specs
• Optimize front-end performance and accessibility
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS with semantic markup
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) or CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind)
• Knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging
• Ability to implement designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with high-traffic web platforms
• Prior collaboration with design teams for UI translation
