Frontend Web Developer - HTML,CSS (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Web Developer (HTML, CSS) to build and maintain responsive, cross-browser user interfaces. You will translate design mockups into functional front-end components and help ensure performance, accessibility, and design accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML and CSS (and related technologies)
• Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatibility across devices
• Collaborate with design teams to implement pixel-perfect UI elements
• Optimize front-end performance and follow accessibility standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS, including semantic markup
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) and/or UI frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind)
• Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging techniques
• Ability to implement designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools

Nice to Have

• Experience working on high-traffic platforms and scalable front-end component systems

Contract Details

• Remote: Work from anywhere (United States)
• Compensation: $30–$80/hour
