About the role
Role Overview
Contract Frontend Web Developer (HTML/CSS), remote/work from anywhere. You will build and maintain responsive, cross-browser user interfaces and translate design mockups into front-end components.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML and CSS
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across devices
- Collaborate with design teams to implement pixel-perfect UI elements
- Optimize front-end performance and accessibility
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices
Requirements
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including semantic markup
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less) or frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind)
- Knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging
- Ability to implement designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools
Nice to Have
- Experience creating front-end components for high-traffic platforms or scalable applications
