Frontend Web Developer - HTML,CSS (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Web Developer (HTML, CSS) working remotely. You’ll build and maintain responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and adherence to design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML and CSS
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across devices
• Collaborate with design teams to implement pixel-perfect UI elements
• Optimize front-end performance and follow accessibility standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including strong semantic markup
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) and/or frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind)
• Knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging
• Ability to implement designs from tools like Figma or Sketch

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building UI for high-traffic platforms
• Strong UI-to-component translation experience (mockups/design specs to front-end)
