About the role
Role overview
As a Frontend TypeScript Engineer (AI Training) at Alignerr, you will review, evaluate, and improve AI-generated TypeScript code. Your expertise will help AI models learn what truly type-safe, scalable, modern frontend development looks like in real-world frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated TypeScript for:
- strict type safety
- correct interfaces
- proper use of generics and utility types
- accurate async patterns and frontend system design
- Build complex, type-safe frontend components using modern web architecture best practices.
- Provide detailed technical analysis of architectural decisions and type-driven development strategies.
- Identify and flag ambiguities or errors in AI responses, especially for complex type definitions and asynchronous patterns.
- Help AI models understand nuances of scalable, production-grade TypeScript across frontend frameworks.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in TypeScript (static typing, generics, interfaces, utility types).
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with modern frontend/full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt.js, or Node.js.
- Strong written communication skills to explain complex technical decisions clearly.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and focused on code quality.
- Comfortable working independently and asynchronously.
- Computer Science degree preferred (not required).
Nice to have
- Experience with data annotation, model evaluation, or AI training workflows.
- Familiarity with code review processes and technical documentation.
- Background in software architecture, design patterns, or developer tooling.
Work setup
- Fully remote, flexible contract.
- 10–40 hours/week (hourly contract).
