About the role
Role: Frontend TypeScript Engineer (AI Training)
Review and improve AI-generated TypeScript code to help AI models produce type-safe, scalable, modern frontend implementations. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role working 10–40 hours/week.
What you’ll do
- Review AI-generated TypeScript for:
- strict type safety
- interface accuracy
- correct generics usage
- appropriate utility types
- Develop complex, type-safe frontend components following modern web architecture best practices
- Provide detailed technical analysis of architectural decisions and type-driven development strategies
- Identify and flag ambiguities/errors in AI responses involving:
- complex type definitions
- asynchronous patterns
- frontend system design
- Help AI models learn nuances of scalable, production-grade TypeScript in real-world frameworks
Who you are
- Deep TypeScript expertise (static typing, generics, interfaces, utility types)
- 3–5+ years hands-on experience with modern frontend or full-stack frameworks such as:
- React, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt.js, or Node.js
- Strong written communication to explain technical decisions clearly
- Detail-oriented and methodical with high code-quality standards
- Comfortable working independently and asynchronously
- CS degree preferred, but not required
Nice to have
- Experience with data annotation, model evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Familiarity with code review processes and technical documentation
- Background in software architecture, design patterns, or developer tooling
Commitment / logistics
- Type: Hourly contract
- Location: Remote
- Hours: 10–40 hours/week
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
