About the role
Role Overview
Alignerr is hiring Frontend TypeScript Engineers (AI Training) for a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role (10–40 hours/week). You will review and guide AI-generated TypeScript code, ensuring it reflects type-safe, scalable, modern web development practices.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated TypeScript for:
- strict type safety
- correct interface design
- proper generic usage
- Develop complex, type-safe frontend components that demonstrate modern web architecture best practices.
- Provide detailed technical commentary on:
- architectural decisions
- type-driven development strategies
- Identify and flag ambiguities/errors in AI responses, especially around:
- complex type definitions
- asynchronous frontend patterns
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in TypeScript, including:
- static typing
- generics
- interfaces
- utility types
- 3–5 years hands-on experience with modern frontend or full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt.js, or Node.js.
- Strong written/verbal communication to clearly explain technical reasoning.
- High attention to detail and strong code quality/correctness standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, model evaluation, or AI training workflows.
- Familiarity with full-stack TypeScript patterns and performance optimization.
- Background in code review, technical writing, or engineering mentorship.
Work Model & Logistics
- Type: Hourly contract
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
